Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Alvine in a native to the area growing up in Hughson, CA. He is the proud father of two wonderful children Quinn (9) and Rory (4). He graduated from UC Davis in 2002 and joined Lander Vet the same year. While focusing primarily on dairy practice, Dr. Alvine enjoys working with small ruminants and camelids. When not practicing veterinary medicine Dr. Alvine is actively involved in managing QMS, the clinicÂ’s drug and dairy product sales company. He is also the clinic software developer, having written or modified the billing and point of sale programs as well as numerous other associated programs. Other interests include backpacking, hiking, running, and photography.
