Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Philip Kennedy grew up in Colorado and spent his summers as a ranch hand on the Salt Plains of Nebraska. His interest in working with animals was sparked during his time on the ranch and he went on to achieve his DVM at Colorado State University. Upon graduation, Dr. Kennedy moved to California and began his career at an emergency clinic in the San Fernando Valley. He is a strong advocate for the veterinary profession, serving on the Board-of-Trustees for the Southern California Veterinary Medical Association (SCVMA) and the House of Delegates for the CVMA.
