Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Garrow joined VCA Cottage in 2000 she earned her BA at the University of California, Berkeley and her DVM at the University of California, Davis. She completed a Small Animal Medicine and Surgery Internship at the Sacramento Animal Medical Group. She is a certified Veterinary Acupuncturist (through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society), and is certified in Veterinary Musculoskeletal Manipulation (through Options for Animals Chiropractic School) and TuiNa, a form of massage and musculoskeletal manipulation for medical conditions (trained through the Chi Institute). She is also certified in Chinese Herbal Medicine (through the Chi Institute). Dr. Garrow has two Australian Shepherds , two senior cats , resident humming bird named Napoleon and a bevy of quail , who share the house with her and her husband. Dr Garrow interest outside of work consist of Agility training and trials with Chaska , gardening reading and travel .
