Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Scott is a 1990 graduate of the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and has more than a decade of advanced academic and clinical training in her area of special interest, equine reproductive biology. She received her Ph.D. in Comparative Pathology in 1997 and completed a residency in Equine Reproduction at UC Davis in 2000. She also gained her board certification in 2000.Dr. Scott has a particular interest in both male and female fertility issues, and this was the focus of her research during her post-graduate training. Dr. Scott has been an invited speaker at national and international scientific meetings, as well as educational programs for horse owners and breeders. In addition, she has been a Lecturer at UC Davis in both the School of Veterinary Medicine and the Department of Animal Science. Dr. Scott opened her veterinary practice in 2002 and has been providing assisted reproductive services and consultations to horse owners in California, as well as owners located in other states and Canada.
