Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Renee Fenty, DVM, DACVECC, attended Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. She completed a rotating small animal internship at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston in 2006, and worked as an emergency clinician for one year at Roberts Animal Hospital in Hanover, Massachusetts. She went on to specialize in emergency and critical care, completing a 3 year residency at Tufts University. Dr. Fenty became board certified in Emergency and Critical Care Medicine in 2010. Dr. Fenty is the head of the Emergency and Critical Care Department at VCA Veterinary Specialists of The Valley. Dr.Fenty has published papers on coagulation, immune mediated disease and cardiac arrest. She has a special interest in coagulation disorders, transfusion medicine, immune mediated diseases and trauma. In her spare time Dr. Fenty enjoys horseback riding, hiking, reading and spending time with her husband Ian and her kitty, Murky.
