Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Andrew Pickerstein was raised in Fairfield, CT. He graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison, and then the UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. Dr. Pickerstein has practiced in multiple veterinary offices in the state of Connecticut. First as a general practitioner in Norwalk, then as an emergency room vet in Cheshire and, most recently, as medical director in Danbury. This has provided him with valuable experience with a variety of different species and medical conditions. His current interests include emergency medicine, dermatology, and critical care. Dr. Pickerstein currently lives in New Haven with his 3 children, his girlfriend, and a pug named Rex.
