Veterinarian Overview
Alison Forrest is a graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. She did an internship in Tuscon, Arizona where she was trained in exotic animal medicine. She returned to Georgia for a year but was recruited back to Arizona to work as an emergency doctor. In 2012, she joined Pine Ridge Pet Hospital and Deltona Animal Medical Center as Medical Director and Associate Veterinarian. Dr. Forrest has a passion for exotic animals, especially tortoise and turtles. She practices advanced medicine and surgery and also enjoys helping wildlife. Her longterm career goal is to be able to provide rehabilatative medicine to manatees. Alison Forrest spends her free time with her husband and their two children. They enjoy camping, off-roading and sailing. When she is able to have some down time, Dr. Forrest writes poetry. The Forrest family shares their home with Princess Tavor the Great Dane.
