Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Rene Cinque was born on Long Island in New York. She moved to Florida with her family after completing her first two years of college at Pennsylvania State University. She continued her education at the University of Florida where she also worked for five years at the Department of Infectious Diseases at UF, researching blood-born parasites in cattle, such as Malaria. There, she received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1990, followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1994. She is very passionate about providing quality veterinary care and client education. After graduation from veterinary school, she practiced as a small animal clinician in West Palm Beach, Florida. She then moved to Jacksonville, where she has practiced at Marietta Animal Hospital since 1995. She and her husband Larry, a firefighter, are owned by two dogs and three cats.
