Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Hobson decided to devote her life to the health and wellness of animals from a very young age. She grew up taking care of her best friends, a loyal German Shepherd dog named Fritz, and a black cat named Flash. She was volunteering at local animal shelters and participating in fundraisers for animal welfare from the age of twelve. After completing her bachelors degree in Animal Science at the University of Minnesota, her ambition led her to Ross University, an AVMA accredited US Veterinary School located in the Caribbean. She pursued her studies for two and a half years on the island of St. Kitts, and then completed her clinical rotations at the University of Illinois. She moved to Longwood to join the Luv-N-Care team in 2013. While studying in St. Kitts, Dr. Hobson met her loving husband and wonderful three children. They have moved to Longwood to be with her and support her goals in veterinary medicine. Dr. Hobsons special interests include preventative medicine and care, dermatology, ophthalmology, and surgery. When she is not taking care of her patients, she enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, five-month old baby, and playing with two cats and one dog. She has also been recently ultrasound certified!
