Veterinarian Overview
Dr. David T. Wise Jr. did his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia and graduated in 1969 with a BSA in Agriculture. He also received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia, graduating in 1972. He completed his professional training from 1972 1973, with a medical and surgical internship at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Wise is a member of many organizations, including Ag Hon, Gridiron Secret Society (UGA), Phi Zeta Honorary Society, Phi Eta Sigma Honorary Society, Phi Kappa Phi, Alpha Zeta, and Omega Tau Sigma. While in veterinary school, he was president of the student chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). He is also a member of the Florida Veterinary Medical Association (FVMA), the South Florida Veterinary Medical Association (SFVMA), the Veterinary Dental Society and the Veterinary Ophthalmology Society. Dr. Wise has held a keen interest in veterinary orthopedics since his training at the Animal Medical Center. Dr. Wise performs many surgeries, including neurosurgery, most soft tissue surgery, and orthopedic surgery at our Central location.
