Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Amanda DeCerce was born and raised in Miami, Florida. After? graduating from Our Lady Of Lourdes Academy, she moved to Tallahassee, Florida to attend Florida State University. She graduated in 2009, earning a? Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. During her time at Florida State, she was an active member of the pre-vet club and helped organize local volunteer opportunities to assist animals in need. She also worked at a local animal hospital as a veterinary technician. Dr. DeCerce graduated from the University of Florida College of ?Veterinary Medicine in 2014, earning her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She was the treasurer of her veterinary class during this time and served on the interview committee for incoming veterinary students. In addition, Dr. DeCerce frequently volunteered to help spay and neuter shelter animals in order to give them a better chance at adoption. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Florida Veterinary Medical Association (FVMA) and is certified with the?USDA, enabling her to authorize animal health certificates for your travel needs. Dr. DeCerce's veterinary interests include dermatology, surgery, and internal medicine. She enjoys biking, swimming, traveling, and watching Florida State Football. Go Noles! Her fiancé and her have two adorable dogs (a Labrador mix named Huey and a Doberman named Geisha).
