Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Lauren Schleenbaker is a Florida native new to the North Port area from Gainesville, FL. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine after completing her clinical training at the University of Florida. Prior to veterinary school, she attended the University of South Florida for her undergraduate degree in Biology and worked for the University of Florida as a veterinary technician for several years. Lauren is excited to be part of the Toledo Blade Animal Clinic team. Her interests include preventative care and dentistry for cats and dogs, and caring for smaller pets such as rabbits and pocket pets. Lauren is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Florida Veterinary Medical Association. When Lauren is not busy at the clinic, she enjoys outdoor activities and spending time at the beach with her fiancé Joe. At home they have two dogs, Charlie and Katana, and a cat, Zack.
