Veterinarian Overview
A third-generation veterinarian, Dr. Vilallonga developed a passion for animals and veterinary medicine since his early childhood. He obtained his degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2001 as the Valedictorian of his class at the College of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Extremadura (Spain). Dr. Vilallonga continued his academic career obtaining a Master of Science in Veterinary Research in 2005 and a PhD in Veterinary Microbiology and Infectious Diseases in 2013 with several scientific articles published in veterinary magazines. He is a life learner and has been involved in several aspects of the veterinary profession, working as an specialist in public health and animal health for the Department of Agriculture in Spain. Now he is devoted to his furry patients in order to give them the best possible care introducing alternative approaches including Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture as well as western medical options. He relocated to Florida in July 2012 where he joined the Animal Hospital at Baldwin Park
