Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Nathan Lippo is originally from southeast Michigan, just south of Detroit. He graduated with honors from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. He went on to complete a 13-month internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, and then worked as an emergency veterinarian at a progressive specialty referral hospital in Rhode Island. In July of 2008, Dr. Lippo completed a residency in emergency and critical care at Veterinary Referral Associates in Maryland, and is board certified by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (ACVECC). Dr. Lippo enjoys all aspects of critical care medicine with special interest in pain management, trauma, critical anesthesia, surgery, cardiac emergencies, and mechanical ventilation. During his free time, Dr. Lippo is an outdoor enthusiast and is especially passionate about traveling. Dr. Lippo is very excited about joining with the excellent team of emergency clinicians and specialists at VSH to provide top level critical care for our community.
