Veterinarian Overview
Dr. James A. Zettler hails from the lovely state of Mississippi and is a graduate of Mississippi State University class of 1995. Dr. Zettler is the fifth child of ten, and is the son of a 20-year US Navy veteran. During his 14 years in practice Dr. Zettler spent 5 of those years in the US Army Veterinary Corps. Dr. Zettler loves practicing veterinary medicine and shows special interest in Internal Medicine, Dermatology, Cardiology, and Gastroenterology. He has been a member of the Knights of Columbus for the past 20 years. He also is a member of the AVMA, FVMA, MVMA, and NWFVMA.When Dr. Zettler is not devoting his time to his patients youll find him fishing, swimming, playing basketball and spending time with his wife and three young children. You can often hear him speak of his love for music and catch him reminiscing his younger years in Los Angeles, playing the drums in a Rock-and-Roll band. Dr. Zettler also enjoyed many years in the Boy Scouts. He looks forward to passing his love for the scouts to his son and hopes he too can achieve the rank of Eagle Scout.
