Veterinarian Overview
To say Dr. Murati is an "animal lover" is an understatement. A native of Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, Dr. Murati took to animals at a very early age. In her lifetime, she has rescued, adopted, housed, and cared for iguanas, turtles, mice, rabbits, fish, birds, dogs, cats, hamsters, and rehabilitated baby birds. Her passion and love for animals led her to pursue an education at the Universidad Metropolitana where she majored in Biology. She worked 3 jobs as an undergrad and full time student! Upon graduation, Dr. Murati enrolled at Ross University in Saint Kitts where she studied Veterinary Medicine. Things haven't been easy, but it's definitely been worthwhile and a great choice for her. What Dr. Murati does all day is what she loves. She tries to the best of her ability to increase the human/pet bond. Making the owner part of the diagnostic process and treatment plan and aiding in deciding what's best for the pet AND the owner is the way she operates. Her favorite part of her job is PUPPY KISSES! All joking aside, seeing the pet doing better, the smile on their furry faces, as well as the owner's smile make her day! While she has many favorite animal stories, when she adopted her first cat the kitty gave her a hug that STOLE HER SOUL. <3 There was no way she could say no!!! Dr. M's favorite music is alternative rock, salsa and country. She loves books and movies. Her hobbies include cross fit, cars, cross-stitching and traveling. Dr. Murati has been enjoying her new career here in Port St. Lucie and is already developing her relationships with our clients, both two legged and four
