Veterinarian Overview
A native of Saint Petersburg, Dr. Antz-Hanson graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelors degree in Agriculture, specializing in Microbiology and Cell Science as well as Animal Science. In 1990 she graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Antz-Hanson has owned and operated the Animal Hospital of Pinellas Point since December 2003, but also has special interests in Critical Care and Emergency Medicine having worked at several emergency clinics from Sarasota to Tampa but primarily in St. Petersburg. Currently, and since 1992, she has been practicing at Animal Emergency Clinic of St. Petersburg. Dr. Antz-Hanson has served on the board of The Pinellas Animal Foundation for several years encouraging pet care in local schools and the community. She is also currently a member of FVMA, AVMA and PCVMA. Dr. Antz-Hanson is married, has five children, twelve grandchildren, three dogs, four cats, one horse, and several fish.
