Veterinarian Overview
Lisa is a small animal and companion exotic animal (small mammals and pet birds) veterinarian. Lisa graduated from Iowa State University in 2014 and continued her education with a year long internship at VCA Alameda East in Denver, Colorado. Lisa enjoys all aspects of small animal and exotic practice including internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and emergency careOriginally from Iowa, Lisa and her husband Rick are extremely happy to back home in Anamosa. Lisa and Rick share their home with 3 cats (Mystic, Brigid, and Maxine) and their recently rescued puppy Mina. In her spare time you might find Lisa in the cardio room at the Lawrence community center or at Starlighter's theater where the couple volunteers on a regular basis. Lisa also enjoys mystery novels and travelling to visit family from California to Florida and multiple states in between.
