Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Sloan is a 2004 graduate of the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She was the lead veterinarian at a large hospital near Chicago, IL until 2010, where she became proficient in ultrasound, internal and reproductive medicine and surgery. In 2011, Dr. Sloan had the opportunity to return to her hometown of Carlisle, IA, where she continues to practice high quality veterinary medicine at the Carlisle Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Sloan purchased the Carlisle Veterinary Clinic in 2014. Her special interests include internal medicine, reproduction and surgery.Dr. Sloan and her husband Mike, also of Carlisle, have twin daughters and two fancy rats! Dr. Sloan truly loves being a veterinarian and can't imagine doing anything else! When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, playing outdoors and reading
