Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Hill grew up in Wiscasset, Maine. She went to college at the University of New Hampshire and studied computer science. She worked for several years in software development before deciding to pursue her true passion: veterinary medicine. As she worked her way through prerequisite classes and applications for veterinary schools, she was an emergency and critical care nurse at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, MA, and volunteered for the Tufts Wildlife Clinic in Grafton, MA. She ultimately moved to Ames, IA to attend Iowa State's College of Veterinary Medicine. She particularly enjoys internal medicine, endocrine diseases, and soft tissue surgery. She is married and has two young sons who are often causing some type of chaos at the clinic.
