Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Stocks received his DVM degree from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. He was accepted into the program after 3 years in the pre-vet program at the University of Arkansas. Initially, he worked at a 24 hour practice after graduation and gained a lot of emergency experience. Later, he worked at 2 sister clinics for over 8 years. He was able to develop his surgical skills significantly during that period. The next part of his career involved a brief stint of relief work before purchasing the Addison Animal Hospital in May 2005. Dr. Stocks is a member of the CVMA, ISVMA, AVMA, and AAHA. He is an avid sports fan. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, exercising, boating and fishing.
