Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Deckert received her Bachelors of Science degree from Western Illinois University, and started at University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. She graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine with a Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1996. She and her husband, Rob moved back to the Peoria area to stay and raise a family. With her three 2- legged children and many 4 legged kids, she spends her spare time enjoying outdoor activities like gardening, fishing, hunting, running, biking and raising poultry as a hobby. Her current 4 legged household includes Jack, a black Lab, 4 cats (Pig, Batty, Possum, and Cupcake), 3 tortoises, and a variety of chickens, turkeys, guinea fowl and peafowl.
