Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Stover is a 2012 graduate of University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, she practiced at Animal Hospital of Woodstock for two years and Bethany Animal Hospital for two years before taking ownership of Hampshire Animal Hospital and Gilberts Animal Clinic, now joined together as Red Barn Animal Hospital. Dr. Stover specializes in preventative care for pets of all ages, behavior management, and low stress handling visits. She has Bruce a Great Pyrenees that was rescued from Animal House Shelter in 2012, and Brock a domestic short hair cat that was rescued at two weeks of age from a forest preserve where he was left with his litter mates in a cardboard box. Dr. Stover and her husband, Rob, have two sons Tommy who is two years old and Louie who is seven months. She enjoys spending time with her family, going to movies, wine tasting, watching Rob coach football and baseball at Sycamore High School, and taking long walks with Bruce.
