Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Lori Potts graduated from the University of Illinois, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She then moved to Virginia to work at a rural mixed animal practice. After caring for all creatures great and small for four years she focused her interests on dogs and cats at a small animal practice for the next six years. Dr. Potts joined our practice in 2013 after she relocated to the area to be closer to family and friends in Illinois. Dr. PottsÂ’ diversity of experiences compliments her passion for helping people and their special friends in all areas of veterinary medicine. When not at work she enjoys cooking, gardening and spending time with her family. Dr. Potts and her husband Joe have two young children, Lily and John. One special dog and cat complete their household. Jack is a Great Pyrenees mix, a gentle giant who was adopted from the mountains of North Carolina. Miah is a sweet and playful black cat who loves to play fetch with Lily
