Veterinarian Overview
A native of Chicago Heights, Dr. Heidi graduated from Marian Catholic High School, Loyola University of Chicago and in 1983 the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. After practicing at a north suburban clinic for two years, she joined Markham Animal Clinic. Her special interests include feline wellness and pet behavior. She is passionate about reducing stress in our petsÂ’ lives, including while coming to the vet, and is Fear Free Certified. The joy that a healthy pet brings a client makes veterinary medicine so rewarding for Dr. Heidi. She also enjoys bicycling, hiking and traveling with her husband Bill and their three sons. A border collie cross named Joey and a rat terrier cross named Allie share their home.
