Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Sullivan recently joined the team as an associate veterinarian at Compassionate Care. She knew she wanted to become a veterinarian from a young age, and went on to receive her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from Iowa State in 2011 and her DVM from Iowa State in 2015 (go Cyclones!). She is originally from Burlington, Iowa, and spent lots of time boating growing up, so she is happy to be living near the Mississippi again. Her mom and dad still live in Burlington, and her younger sister Ashley recently graduated nursing school at Iowa. There is a big rivalry between the Cyclones and Hawkeyes in their family! Dr. Sullivan met her husband, Travis, in undergrad at Iowa State and they were married in July of 2013. Travis is a seed salesman for Rob-See-Co around the Quad City area. They enjoy spending time with their two dogs, Cosmo and Kenzie along with their newly adopted cat, Kitty. Cosmo is a mixed breed dog who was adopted from a shelter, and Kenzie is a Mini-Australian Shepherd with a bad attitude ;-). Dr. Sullivan is so excited to begin her career in veterinary medicine with the Compassionate Care team and looks forward to getting to know the clientele!
