Veterinarian Overview
JennieAnn McCall Heischmidt is a 1978 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a St. Elmo native. Her parents owned and operated a grocery and dry goods store and in later years a laundry and dry cleaners in St. Elmo. Dr. Heischmidt opened St. Elmo Pet Clinic on December 31, 1983. She and her husband Mark live in rural St. Elmo with their Golden Retriever, Shakespeare. Their children, Lauren and Blake, are grown. Dr. enjoys traveling and is active in the St. Elmo Business Association and the St. Elmo Historical Society.
