Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Mark Carlson graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. He received an MS in Environmental Science from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, and a BS in Biology from Quincy College. He grew up in Greenfield Illinois, the oldest of four siblings and son of a large animal veterinarian. Prior to becoming a veterinarian, he held early careers as an environmental consultant and then as a cartographer for The National Geographic Society. Dr. Carlson worked in small animal practice for nearly 20 years in New Jersey and is back to this area to be near family. He enjoys general practice, dermatology and oncology. He currently shares his home with 3 cats
Spooky, Blue and Bad Josephine. He enjoys gardening, traveling, spending time with family, and eating ice cream with good friends.
