Veterinarian Overview
Susan Clingenpeel, DVM grew up loving animals in Charleston, West Virginia. She attended the Ohio State University as an undergraduate and veterinary school at the University of Georgia. She practiced small animal medicine for 9 years in Richmond, Virginia, then worked as a small animal emergency clinician in West Virginia and Georgia. She also did part-time shelter medicine while living in Georgia. She especially enjoys surgery, emergency and internal medicine. A job transfer for her husband brought her to a farm in rural Wisconsin which allows ample space for her animals. Her menagerie includes 2 Labrador Retrievers, a Swedish Vallhund, 3 cats. 2 goats, a rabbit, and a tortoise. In her free time she enjoys dog agility, horseback riding, rose gardening, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
