I am sorry that Lisa Stolly does not understand what is going on with her cat. Our office call is $80. The only time that fees go above $400 is for major surgery. We do not just give out medication upon a client's demand. A diagnosis is needed for dispensing of medication. To do otherwise is malpractice. Some of the medications requested by Ms. Stolley have potential severe side effects. A cat not eating for more than a day should get veterinary care with proper work up and tests for an appropriate treatment. We hope that Ms. Stolly's cat is doing well. Our primary concern is for the wellbeing of the pet.
Unprofessional , incompetent and simply mean. She told me it was okay that my sick cat hadn’t eaten for four days and that it was okay if my cat didn’t eat for two more days over the weekend. She wouldn’t listen to anything I said though I know the cat and have lots of experience with cats. My cat is suffering this vet did very little except tell me she wouldn’t give my cat an appetite stimulant or antibiotics or a steroid shot - which I know the cat . needs and which the actually competent other vet in the practice would have and has done for my cats. Dr. Claus exhibited an astounding lack of professionalism and concern for an obviously distressed cat. After having spent $400 for nothing I will now have to take my cat to an emergency vet and spend God knows how much to help my cat . I am really appalled at this vet’s lack of compassion not to mention her stupidity . Not eating for consecutive days can kill a cat. This has been confirmed by Blue Pearl .
