Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Miller grew up on a horse farm in Florida where she helped her family care for the horses. She quickly developed a passion for animal care that continues today. In addition to animal care, Dr. Miller enjoyed her school work, especially biology and math. She decided that becoming a veterinarian would combine her loves of animal care, biology and mathematics.Dr. Miller is a 2008 graduate of Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. She started at SAVC as an assistant before veterinary school back in 2002. After veterinary school, Dr. Miller practiced in Evanston, IL before returning home to Indiana. Dr. Miller enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, especially dentistry, internal medicine and ophthalmology. Outside of work Dr. Miller enjoys spending time with her husband Josh, cycling, cooking and gardening. They have three dogs named Lilly, Petey and Henry.
