Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Christie is originally from New Jersey but moved west to Indiana where her interest in animals was able to flourish on the family farm. She attended the local North Harrison High School. Dr. Christie is a 1987 graduate of the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr Christie is licensed to practice in the state of Indiana, and is a fully Federally Accredited Veterinarian. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Indiana VMA, the American Association of Equine Practitioners and Indiana Assoc. of Equine Practitioners. After graduation, Dr. Christie gained experience in her own Equine Veterinary Service as well as practicing with veterinarians in Corydon and Terre Haute. On staff here at the Corydon Animal Hospital since 2002, Dr. Christie is a general practitioner with special interest in surgery (orthopedic, soft tissue, laser).
