Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Lawson calls Newburgh, IN his home. He received his BS degree from the University of Evansville in 1981, and completed a masters in general biology at the University of Illinois in 1984. He did a clinical year at St. Vincent's Hospital, in Indianapolis, IN in medical technology. He worked there from 1985 to 1989 as a medical technologist. He then went to St. Louis University and attained a BS degree in perfusion technology in 1991. From there he went to vet school at the University of Missouri and received his DVM in 1995. He worked at Greenbrier Animal Hospital from 1995-2015, as a small animal practitioner.Outside of the office, he is married to Karen, a pediatric physical therapist. His hobbies are his three children, Kaitlyn (15), Jon (12), and Megan (9). They attend Trinity UMC. He is also a Civil War buff, and unfortunately, a Illinois and Cubs fan
