Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Amy Lanum graduated from the Purdue School of Veterinary Medicine in 2000 and has been with Bush Veterinary Services since 2003. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Indiana Veterinary Medical Association where she has served on the board of directors for 6 years as the bovine veterinarian liason. She is also the current vice president of the Indiana bovine practitioners group as well as a member of the American Association of Bovine Practitioners and the Society for Theriogenology. In addition she is also active in many community projects, especially the 4-H program, where she and her husband Chad, serve as the Carroll county 4-H beef committee co-chairmen. Dr. Lanum works with both small and large animals on a daily basis and has a strong interest in bovine reproduction, medicine, and surgery. She and Chad have 2 children, Rylie and Colton, that keep them hopping! As a family they are active members of Crossroads Community Christian Church in Flora, enjoy raising and showing shorthorn cattle, watching Rylie show pigs, spending time with family and friends, and cheering for the colts
