This vet was incredibly rude, arrogant, and seemingly uncomfortable with medium to large dogs. He treated my dog as if he were a killing machine with a bite history to rival any fight dog. My pup's first visit to this clinic was horrific largely due to his recent abuse history. The initial vet I saw two years ago (can't remember his name) was amazing. He immediately recognized that my dog was abused and protective especially of me, not aggressive. Somewhere along the way, inaccurate information was recorded and this Vincent Karsteter immediately walked in the room stating that my dog likes to eat vets. Mind you, I've had him a few years now, he is trusting, was playful with the other animals in the clinic, is obedient, was wearing a harness, and a muzzle for safety (I am currently pregnant and my pup ensures mine and my child's safety). Oh, and a 6'6" man was holding him for me. I explained that my pup had previously been muzzled and beat. He didn't care to hear any of it and just whined about how many times he's been bit. Dogs aren't stupid, they can sense your unease and your arrogance making them react protectively. Perhaps this attitude is what earned you your bites sir. He recommended a pinch collar for a dog who is controlled saying, "he has you fooled." How rude is that? Then you want to come into the room hand me a bottle of pills without explaining, then walk over to my dog and inject him with something you did not ask me about, and you hid the needle until you got close to my dog. I'm upset there isn't a negative rating on here.
