Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Philips grew up in Valparaiso, Indiana. He earned a B.S. in Microbiology at Indiana University. After working several years in research in Nebraska, he earned a M.S.in Veterinary Microbiology and a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Iowa State University in 1989. Since 1989, he has taken in excess of 30 credit hours a year of continuing education, earning him Indiana's Excellence in Education Award each year. Dr. Philips is committed to keeping abreast of developments in Veterinary Medicine. His family includes his wife, Wanda; two sons, Colin and Eyn; and a dog named Sid. His interests include hunting, fishing, trapping, and history.
