Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Trina Duncan, Chief of Staff, has been at South Bend Animal Clinic for 20 years. She was born in Ohio but spent the majority of her childhood in Greenwood, Indiana. She received an undergraduate degree from Ball State University in Muncie and a DVM degree from Purdue University in West Lafayette.During her senior year of veterinary school, Dr. Duncan externed at the Wildlife Center of Virginia. Right after graduation, she joined the South Bend Animal Clinic team in 1995. She has spent her entire veterinary career here, saying she never left because "South Bend Animal Clinic is such a wonderful place!"Dr. Duncan has a special interest in small animal medicine and soft tissue surgery. Outside of work, when the weather allows, she enjoys camping with family and backpacking. She also enjoys gardening (hoping to grow her own food each spring) and spending time with her husband and two sons.
