Veterinarian Overview
Tonia Traas joined AVC in June 2016. A native of Waunakee, Wisconsin, she earned her B.S. in Animal Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and DVM degree from Kansas State University. Tonia treats both large and small animal patients at AVC. She has a diverse resume including care of small animal, beef cattle, and dairy as well as equine. Tonia has gained valuable clinical experience through externships, internships and mentorships in progressive practices in Wisconsin, Kansas and Tennessee. Her hobbies include fishing, quail hunting, kayaking, running, spending time with her Vizsla mix dog, Buck, and brushing up on her cooking skills.
