Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Heather Holliman-Pope is from Longmont, Colorado. She attended undergrad and veterinary school at Colorado State University - where she graduated with her DVM in 2010. After graduation she traveled east to Hays Veterinary Hospital where she has been practicing ever since. She is a member of the AVMA and KVMA - as well as a veterinary advisor on the board of the Humane Society of the High Plains. She has special training in animal acupuncture. Dr. Heather has developed many good client relationships in her career here. She married her husband Bill in 2008 and they have a daughter and son - Kate and Bret. At home Dr. Holliman-Pope has 3 basset hounds - Ellie, Harold, and Maggie. She enjoys spending time outside, playing with her family, and gardening
