Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Wood is a 2001 graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University. Dr Wood practiced 2 years in Michigan City, IN and 2.5 years in Independence, MO prior to returning to his home town of Leavenworth at the end of 2005.Dr. Wood is married to Melony and has 3 children: Benjamin, Kimberly and Alexis. The family are proud owners of 3 cats (Oliver, Edgar, Ramona) and 2 dog (Hank, Snowball). Dr. Wood and Melony have recently taken up road bicycling and enjoy all of the associated health and social benefits. Dr. Woods other interests include music, the dramatic arts (especially community and singing and running sound for several local and Kansas City area community theaters) and local sports.
