Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Kalmar graduated from Kansas State University School of Veterinary Medicine in May 1986. She is a native Kansan and grew up in Overland Park. She has practiced in Colorado and Manhattan, KS before returning to the Kansas City area in 1997.She loves working with dogs and cats and their families. Her main goal is to help pets lead a long, happy, and healthy life. She herself has a large family of Irish Setters, which she enjoys showing, and also several cats. When not working, she enjoys gardening and reading. Through her dog showing, she has been fortunate to meet people from all over the world and has traveled extensively in the US and has visited Australia twice.
