Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Mary Zogleman grew up in Wichita where she completed her undergraduate degree at Friends University majoring in Biology and Zoo Science. She worked as a zookeeper at the Sedgwick County Zoo for 5 years prior to pursuing a veterinary degree. She graduated from Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. Dr. Zogleman practiced at the former Town and Country and All Pets Veterinary Clinics of Newton until the fall of 2004. She then provided relief veterinary services in Wichita and surrounding areas prior to purchasing Great Plains Pet Hospital from Dr. Coleman Scott in January of 2006. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Kansas Veterinary Medical Association, Wichita Veterinary Medical Association and St. Mary Churchs MOMs Group. Dr. Zogleman has a weakness for Australian Cattle dogs, puppy breath, gray cats and chocolate. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Tom, 3 children & stepson. The Zoglemans family also includes 4 dogs, 5 cats, 2 shire draft horses, 1 pony and 50 plus guppies. When not practicing medicine she enjoys swimming, country walks, meteor showers, photography, riding/driving horses and touring aquariums & zoos. Thank you for sharing your pets with me.
