Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Sarah Hicks Dr. Hicks spent most of her childhood growing up in Wichita, KS. She attended Kansas State University where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the KSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. After graduation, she was employed at the Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital in Wichita. She joined the Indian Hills Animal Clinic team in July of 2006. Dr. Hicks' professional interests include internal medicine, emergency medicine, and soft tissue surgery. She is a member of the Wichita Veterinary Medical Association, Kansas Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, The American Heartworm Society, and the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management. In 2012, Dr. Hicks was nominated and is now serving on the board of directors for the Kansas Humane Society. Dr. Hicks is always happy to give back to the Wichita community by volunteering as the Veterinarian on Duty at Woofstock and organizing Wichita's annual Dog-N-Jog Fundraising event. Dr. Hicks spends much of her free time with her close friends and family. And on a nice spring day, you'll catch her and her German Shepherd, Laddie, supporting the Friends University Falcon's baseball team, coached by her significant other, Adam.
