Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Eric Kitziger is a native of New Orleans who graduated from Jesuit High and earned his Bachelor of Science Degree at LSU. He received his DVM degree from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 1988. Dr. Kitziger is an active member of the Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. He has also served on the board of the Southeastern Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association. He lives in Metairie with his wife Dr. Shawn Kitziger, DVM, son William and daughters Holly and Emma. They share their lives with "Max" the Pug, "Lucky" the cat, a hen named "Claire" and "Stella" the rabbit. They have two ferrets "Isabella" and "Sly Jr." and "Dash" the Chinchilla. They have a hamster, a turtle and numerous Finches and fish. They have two Degus named "Sugar" & "Spice" and "Ray Jay" the famous Blue Jay.
