Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Patricia Rings, VMD is our part-time Veterinarian here at Animal Medical Center. Dr. Rings was born near Pittsburgh, PA and went to college at West Virginia University, receiving a BS in Animal Science in 1976. She then attended the University of Pennsylvania for Veterinary Medicine, and graduated in 1982. She relocated to Houston, TX after graduating to be with her husband Terry. From 1982-1984 Dr. Rings worked in League City, TX, then moved to Columbus, OH where her husband attended grad school. She did relief and daily work there until 1987. In July of that same year they moved to Lake Charles, Dr. Rings started relief work in this area in 1988. In 2005 she started part-time work 2 1/2 to 3 days a week at Animal Medical center with Dr. Harper. Dr. Rings and her family have a cat named Obi that is shown in the photo with her.
