Dr. Simon is married to Mark Simon and they have three children, Kris, Karl and Megan. Dr Simon is the daughter of Cliff and Suzanne Durand of St. Martinville. She graduated from Mercy High School, received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture at USL in 1983 and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from LSU-SVM in 1988.
