Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Leslie Singer Prescott joined our practice in September 2013. She attended Brown University for her undergraduate studies and Tufts School of Veterinary Medicine, where she was a member of the honor society and graduated in 1998. After veterinary school, Dr. Prescott practiced in Massachusetts and then in New Hampshire where she was part owner of a veterinary hospital. She later moved overseas where she volunteered for the US Army Veterinary Corps in Japan and worked at a private practice in Brazil. Dr. Prescott is a member of the Maryland Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. Her professional interests include senior care, exotic pet care and general veterinary medicine. She lives in Kensington with her husband and their two children, as well as their two dogs Bela and Telly (who can usually be found at Kenwood Canine Clubhouse). Her interests outside of work include hiking with her dogs and family, travel, reading and cooking.
