Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Fredric Tinetti is a native of Flint Michigan and a graduate from Michigan State University with high honors in 1971. Since early childhood Fred knew he wanted to be a veterinarian. Upon graduation he longed for a warmer climate and moved to Maryland to begin his career in veterinary medicine. Dr. Tinetti began practicing at Burtonsville Animal Hospital in partnership with Dr. Ronald Buchanan. In 2002 he purchased the practice and is now sole veterinarian.Dr. Tinetti loves animals, camping, fly fishing and tennis. He attends numerous continuing education seminars annually. His mission is to provide compassionate, professional and affordable care to pets and the people who love them.
