Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Barnard grew up in Howard County, Maryland. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Delaware, then obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania. She is thrilled to return to the rolling pastures of the Maryland country side as part of the Animal Medical Hospital at Glenwood team. Her special equine interests include lameness and diagnostic imaging, sport horse medicine, podiatry, reproduction, and pathology. In addition, she also has a background working with small ruminants as well as cats and dogs.In her spare time, Dr. Barnard enjoys spending time with friends and family, staying physically active at the gym, helping with local 4-H activities, and most of all spending time with her dogs and miniature mare named Diamond. Dr. Barnard is also an avid sports fan and especially loves to enjoy a great football Sunday during the fall
