Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Lauren Abell joined Layfield Veterinary Services as an associate veterinarian in 2015. Dr. Abell is the primary veterinarian at the Pocomoke Branch during the week. Dr. Abell graduated from Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine as the Valedictorian of the Class 2013. She was born and raised on the Delmarva Peninsula. She and her husband, Kyle, live in Pocomoke, MD with their dogs Jacob and Annie, cat Micah, and Bandit the horse. They are excited to be expecting their first child in September! In her free time she enjoys singing with her church and in the community, and participating in outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, boating, and hiking. Dr. Abell loves this area and is so happy to be home with her family and friends.
